The Lake

I went to the lake of the Ozarks last week, and I had the best time. I went with my mom, my brother, and my best friend Kalyn. And we stayed with my Aunt and Uncle, they have a really big house there.

This room used to be a deck, but they had it closed in. And that would be me in the second photo (I was most likely dancing I didn't even know Kalyn was taking a picture)

They had sparklers left over from the 4th. So we used them up.

Highlights of the trip:

We were swimming around 7:00 p.m. and it stared to rain, very hard. But we realized there was no lighting or thunder so we just went in the hot tub. We were looking out on to the lake and we noticed a rainbow.

Later on that night around 11:00 everyone else was going to bed. I decided to go outside, dip my feet in the pool, and catch up on my reading. It was quite relaxing.

Reading magazines on the way home. And discussing they articles I read with Kalyn.

I finally bought myself a new camera. So I don't have to keep borrowing Kalyn's. And that means more pictures. Perfect timing since I'm going to Colorado this Saturday for a week. I'm doing a lot of traveling this summer.

The only good thing about the ending of summer, is that you get to go shopping for fall. I love fall and winter clothes. And lately I've been getting tired of the heat. So getting the Urban Outfitters Catalog for their early fall clothes got me excited (not enough to make me want school back though).

But so anyways back. I went to Iowa to babysit my cousins like I said. But instead of going home I unexpectedly went to the lake of the Ozarks. Lot's of fun, my best friend came down too. I will be posting pictures of that soon.

Gone Again

I'm to Iowa again today. I have to babysit my little cousins. And I'll be back in a week or so. But before I go, I'll leave you with some items I'm really digging right now.

Neon pink is becoming one of my favorite things to wear. And what better way to wear it than on your feet? From Delias.

And of course floral is a big trend this summer. And I think this would look cute (and prevent it from being too sleazy) over a solid grey tee shirt, the flowers also add to the cuteness factor. But if your brave enough pair it with a patterned tee, maybe stripes? From Forever 21.

Delias has a new style of jeans. They call the "super skinny" which intrigues me on so many levels. I need a new pair of skinnies anyways.

I'm obsessed with these Betsey Johnson tights. What else can I say? From Urban Outfitters.
